Local Information

Many of the most popular sights are nearby: Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Downing Street, The London Eye, and boat trips down the Thames to Greenwich.

To the north of the hotel lie the royal parks, two tree-lined expanses of open space with fabulous views of the surrounding architecture. Beyond them are Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, and the shopping and theatres of the West End.

A walk westwards from the 4-star luxury Rubens at the Palace takes you to the exclusive shopping areas of Sloane Square, King's Road, Sloane Street, and Knightsbridge. A little further on is Kensington and the great museums: the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the Science Museum.
