Solutions Consultancy

Touchstone’s team of experienced consultants and project managers follow the proven PRINCE II  and PMI methodology to minimise risk and ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget. Most importantly, they ensure our customers achieve their business objectives.

Our implementation approach follows six key stages:

1. Project Scoping & Business Mapping

   Our business analysts conduct a series of interviews and workshops to fully research your business needs. This is then mapped against the solution functionality to ensure every aspect of the existing and future business processes are taken into account. At the same time our consultants will identify and scope specific customisation and integration work that may be required.

2. System Analysis & Design

   Following the scoping and mapping exercise, you will be presented with a comprehensive system design document detailing the precise elements of the solution within your organisation. At this stage the project plan may be revised to take into account any additional work that has been identified.

3. System Build

   The software is configured in a test environment in accordance with the system design document. Reports, instruction manuals and test plans are developed according your to individual requirements.

4. Data Migration

   Once the system has been configured, data can be migrated from your existing systems with minimum disruption. The system should then be thoroughly tested by key users across multiple departments and functions as required.

5. Comprehensive End User Training & Documentation

   Touchstone can offer multiple training approaches, classroom, off-site, online training or train the trainer depending on your requirements.

6. Go Live and Post Implementation Review

   At an agreed interval after the system has gone live, the review evaluates the success of the system in meeting your implementation objectives. Recommendations are made where appropriate to help you achieve the maximum benefit from your new solution.
